The Law 12/1989 of 9 May on the Public Statistical Function requires the High Council on Statistics to draw up an annual report describing its activities during each year.
Each report sets out:
- The regulations governing the nature, functions, composition and organisation of the High Council on Statistics.
- The activities carried out during each period,
- by the Plenary
- by its Standing Commission
- The Report on the National Statistical Plan
- The working groups set up by the Council
Of particular interest amongst these activities are the opinions issued by the CSE’s Standing Commission regarding plans, annual programmes and statistical projects for state purposes.
The resolutions adopted by the CSE and the composition of the Council at the end of the year are also detailed.
